The newly - issued Russian VKBO 2.0 temperate zone combat boots are a key part of the new VKBO 2.0 system. They are designed for general - purpose tactical use in the temperature range of 10°C - 40°C and can be extended to 0°C with warm socks. Suitable for spring, summer, and autumn in Russia.
2. Materials
- Upper: Made of genuine leather for durability and comfort.
- Shaft: Utilizes "koala" lightweight fabric.
- Lining: Made of mesh material to efficiently expel moisture and heat and offer extra shock absorption.
- Sole: Constructed from thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), able to withstand - 40°C to + 40°C. The sole is molded by the vulcanization (compression vulcanization) method for high strength and moisture resistance.
3. Design Features
- The outsole adopts a modular design. The load - bearing areas have embedded wear - resistant and non - slip patterned blocks for good traction and stability, while the non - load - bearing areas use hollow substrates to reduce weight.
